Let’s take a quick break from the Brothers in Exile excerpts to show you the awesome new cover art for the Star Wanderers books! These ones are for Dreamweaver, Benefactor, Reproach, and Deliverance, and I think they turned out quite well.

The cover designer here is Libbie Hawker, who also did the other covers (except for Outworlder and Tales of the Far Outworlds. She’s also got a lot of great books of her own, so be sure to check her out!

In just a few days, I should have some art for Brothers in Exile to show you guys. I think you’re going to like it!

  1. The rich colors really make the covers pop, yet the high contrast of the text creates a nice layered effect against the background, much like you see in a lot of professional movie posters. I can still tell that they’re indie books, but they’re so much more polished than crude stock-photo look you see on most self-published titles.

Your cover designer knows her stuff.

    1. Hey thanks! I passed the comment on to Libbie, and she was thrilled. Cover art can be tricky, and I know when I do it myself, it doesn’t come off as well as when I find someone who really knows what they’re doing.
