So\u00a0Star Wanderers: Outworlder (Part I)<\/strong> is available for free now on Kobo<\/a> and Smashwords<\/a> (it’s also free on a couple of other sites, but hasn’t yet updated to the new version–see Monday’s post<\/a>\u00a0for the explanation). \u00a0I would like to make it free on Amazon, too, but I need your help! \u00a0Here’s what I need you to do:<\/p>\n

Step 1: Copy this URL<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>It’s the page for the book on Kobo. \u00a0Amazon doesn’t usually price match to Smashwords, but if you want to be extra awesome you can do that too.<\/p>\n

Step 2: Go to Amazon<\/a>\u00a0and click on “tell us about a lower price”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Open a tab in your browser and navigate to the Amazon page for <\/a>Star Wanderers: Outworlder (Part I)<\/a>.<\/strong>\u00a0Above the customer reviews section and below the “Customers Who Bought This Also Bought” is a section labeled \u00a0“Product details”:<\/p>\n

Click on “tell us about a lower price,” and a small window should pop up.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Fill out the details and click “submit feedback”<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>The window should be pretty self explanatory. \u00a0It basically asks you where the book is selling for less, and how much it is selling for. \u00a0Select the option for the online store, paste the Kobo URL into the appropriate field, and fill out the price\/shipping details:<\/p>\n

It shouldn’t take more than a couple of moments. \u00a0After that, you’re done!<\/p>\n

If you could do that for me, I would\u00a0really<\/em> appreciate it. \u00a0Amazon’s bots are sporadic and unpredictable, but if a whole bunch of different people (from different ISPs using different Amazon accounts) tell them that a book is free, they’re more likely to price match.<\/p>\n

If you’re an Amazon customer and use the UK, French, German, Spanish, or Italian stores, it would be even more awesome if you could help me out! \u00a0I’ve never been able to get any of my titles to price match on those stores, though I’ve certainly wanted to. \u00a0Here are the links for\u00a0Star Wanderers: Outworlder (Part I):<\/strong><\/p>\n
