I know I haven’t written much on this blog in recent days, but I’m still here, and still writing.\u00a0 I’m in a little bit of a slump, with some doubts about this story and whether I’m pulling off what I’m attempting to do…more on that in another post.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow is the only day of school I have all week!\u00a0 Hooray!\u00a0 I still have to do my Arabic homework, but meh–it’s not too hard.\u00a0 I’m really REALLY <\/em>looking forward to this break.<\/p>\n Also, I’m thinking about getting a laptop.\u00a0 Not a big clunky one, like my last one–I have a desktop, and that one suits most of my needs for the time being.\u00a0 Really, I just need something small and ultra-portable for my writing and internet usage.\u00a0 After chatting with some of my friends and looking around, I think I’ve found one<\/a>–an eee pc that seems to do everything I want it to do for a mere $350 or so.<\/p>\n The only thing that worries me is that the keyboard will be too small for me to get used to.\u00a0 For that reason, I’m going to check it out at one of the local computer retailers here before I buy it.\u00a0 One of my friends from the Jordan study abroad had one, and he said that it was not very good for typing.\u00a0 I don’t know…for $350 and such a conveniently small size, I might be able to get used to it.\u00a0 Maybe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I know I haven’t written much on this blog in recent days, but I’m still here, and still writing.\u00a0 I’m in a little bit of a slump, with some doubts about this story and whether I’m pulling off what I’m attempting to do…more on that in another post.
