{"id":251,"date":"2008-09-17T21:49:22","date_gmt":"2008-09-18T04:49:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.onelowerlight.com\/writing\/?p=251"},"modified":"2008-09-17T21:49:56","modified_gmt":"2008-09-18T04:49:56","slug":"cool-new-title","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.onelowerlight.com\/writing\/cool-new-title\/","title":{"rendered":"Cool New Title!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hey guess what!\u00a0 I <em>finally<\/em> figured out a new title for the story previously known as <em>The Lost Colony<\/em>!\u00a0 From here on out, that story will be known as <strong><em>The Phoenix of Nova Terra<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>That title fits in so many different ways.\u00a0 Humanity is crawling out of the ashes of a near xenocidal war and Nova Terra is their greatest hope; Ian has struggled all his life to cope with the nuclear holocaust of his home world and he finds rebirth at Nova Terra; the aliens who come in WAY later in the story find the fulfilment of their prophecies and the beginning of their return to glory because of Ian&#8217;s actions, etc etc.<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks go out to Natascha Faux for helping me to come up with that new title!\u00a0 That definitely deserves a major place in the acknowledgments page.\u00a0 What&#8217;s more, it makes me really, really happy.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>What a freaking awesome title!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hey guess what!\u00a0 I finally figured out a new title for the story previously known as The Lost Colony!\u00a0 From here on out, that story will be known as The Phoenix of Nova Terra.
