But yeah, I did a lot of writing today.\u00a0 And a lot of hanging out with friends as well.\u00a0 It was a lot of fun, but probably not so productive.\u00a0 But oh well–it was Sunday.<\/p>\n
I finished up the chapter, exactly as I had my goal for this week.\u00a0 Now, I’m about two chapters from the end (that is, unless something crazy happens).\u00a0 So, inshallah, I can get those chapters finished before finals week.<\/p>\n
The really cool thing is that I’ve got finals week almost totally open.\u00a0 I don’t have any finals until the last couple of days, and only three that are going to take any real work.\u00a0 One of them is open notes, so really it’s a measure of how much work I’ve done throughout the class more than how much I’ve studied for the test.\u00a0 Same with the Arabic test–you can’t really cram for it.\u00a0 And the other poli sci test?\u00a0 If it’s anything like the others, it won’t be an issue.<\/p>\n
I wouldn’t be rewriting the first couple of chapters except that I need to in order to prepare for the English 318 final.\u00a0 I’m not sure if it’s quite as polished as it could be, but I think it’s better.\u00a0 The POV probably needs to be a bit closer to the viewpoint character, however, in order to give it that human interest.<\/p>\n
But yeah.\u00a0 That was basically my weekend–writing and hanging out with friends.\u00a0 I did accomplish most of my poli sci homework, but the Arabic…what can I say?\u00a0 I’m behind on the point sheet (as usual), but I have <\/em>been reading other texts outside of class, and that’s been helping my Arabic quite a bit.\u00a0 What I really need to do is write in my Arabic blog…<\/p>\n But not now.\u00a0 I’ve got to go to bed.\u00a0 Ugh.<\/p>\n
