For behold, many of the daughters of the Lamanites have they taken prisoners; and after&nbsp;depriving&nbsp;them of that which was most dear and precious above all things, which is&nbsp;chastity&nbsp;and&nbsp;virtue\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p10\"><strong>10&nbsp;<\/strong>And after they had done this thing, they did murder them in a most&nbsp;cruel&nbsp;manner, torturing their bodies even unto death; and after they have done this, they devour their flesh like unto wild beasts, because of the hardness of their hearts; and they do it for a token of bravery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p11\"><strong>11&nbsp;<\/strong>O my beloved son, how can a people like this, that are without civilization\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p12\"><strong>12&nbsp;<\/strong>(And only a few years have passed away, and they were a civil and a delightsome people)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p13\"><strong>13&nbsp;<\/strong>But O my son, how can a people like this, whose&nbsp;delight&nbsp;is in so much abomination\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"p14\"><strong>14&nbsp;<\/strong>How can we expect that God will&nbsp;stay&nbsp;his hand in judgment against us?<\/p>\n<cite>Moroni 9:7-14<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The atrocities that we saw by Hamas on October 7th were on exactly the same level as the atrocities in the closing chapters of the Book of Mormon. The only thing we haven&#8217;t heard about is cannibalism, both of Hamas fighters against the victims, and of the hostages fed with the flesh of their own children\u2014but frankly, it wouldn&#8217;t be surprising, given the scope and nature of the atrocities we already know about. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet, there are significant numbers of people in the West who approve of the jihad against the Jewish people?
