…and it’s kind of annoying, because I want to finish it soon.\u00a0 Next time I should outline better before I start.<\/p>\n
Still, it’s going to be kind of nice to have a love interest.\u00a0 I sort of saw it coming a while ago, but recently it’s been coming up more, because I’m starting to get to a part where the girl realizes how she feels about the guy, and the guy finally stops being oblivious.\u00a0 I listened to a panel on how to put romance into a sci fi story at LTUE <\/a>today (I actually had a meeting with a professor, but Drek <\/a>was kind enough to record it for me), and it’s got me thinking about this.<\/p>\n It means that the story might<\/em> not end quite as soon as I’d thought it would.\u00a0 But it’s going to end, and I know where.\u00a0 Sort of.<\/p>\n Next time, I should outline better.<\/p>\n In other news, I’m probably going to be picking up a job soon.\u00a0 I saw a listing on the job boards in the wilk for a job in the bookstore that works really well with my schedule.\u00a0 It’s a stockroom delivery job, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am.\u00a0 Since I don’t have any classes before noon, this could work out really well.<\/p>\n I’ve been without a job since the fall, and I’ve noticed something–I really don’t like spending money when I don’t have a job.\u00a0 Not that I’ve been broke the whole time–I’ve had enough for my needs, plus a little bit extra–but it just doesn’t feel<\/em> right for me to spend money when I don’t have a job.\u00a0 It’s as if I feel guilty doing it, like I’m leeching off of someone or something.\u00a0 It’s kind of weird.\u00a0 But once I have a job–once I feel like I have ownership of the money that I spend–I think it will go away.<\/p>\n Of course, I hope that I don’t get sick with something serious before the first day.\u00a0 That would kind of suck.<\/p>\n Still, I’m blessed.\u00a0 Life is fabulously good.\u00a0 So was LTUE–great time geeking out this weekend!<\/p>\n And…there was something else I was going to say, but I forgot.<\/p>\n I’ve decided that for each of these personal update posts that I write, I’ll add a link to something moderately cool at the end, just to keep you guys who read this from getting too bored (like Drek<\/a>).\u00a0 So, here’s a link to something cool: political cartoonists interpreting the meaning of Valentine’s day 2008.<\/a>\u00a0 Oh, joy.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" And it doesn’t help when you’re sick.\u00a0 Yeah, I think I’m coming down with something.\u00a0 It’s kind of…demotivating.
