[NOTE: this is part three in a series of posts lifted from the\u00a0quark message boards<\/a> where I recently GM’d a game of\u00a0Werewolf<\/a>. \u00a0The theme was Final Fantasy 6, one of my favorite RPGs of all time. \u00a0To see all posts in the series, click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

WARNING: there\u00a0will<\/em> be spoilers here, and lots of them, so if you haven’t played Final Fantasy 6, do yourself a favor and play the game before reading on!]<\/p>\n

While Terra recuperates at Figaro Castle, Emperor Gestahl sends Kefka with an expeditionary force on a recon mission to find the mysterious magic user and bring her back to Vector. When Kefka arrives at Figaro Castle, he finds King Edgar cordial but evasive. Bored with diplomacy, he decides to take a more hard-line approach and orders his troops to attack the castle.<\/em><\/p>\n

EDGAR: What’s happening?<\/p>\n

KEFKA: Bring me the girl. Now!<\/p>\n

EDGAR: I don’t know what you’re talking about!<\/p>\n

KEFKA: Then…welcome to my barbecue!! Uwa ha ha ha!<\/p>\n

EDGAR walks up to the throne room door and talks to a Soldier.<\/em><\/p>\n

EDGAR: Get ready…!<\/p>\n

FIGARO SOLDIER: Yes, Sir!<\/p>\n

Soldier walks into the door.<\/em><\/p>\n

KEFKA: Changed your mind…?<\/p>\n

EDGAR: I guess I have no choice…<\/p>\n

EDGAR whistles for a three Chocobos and jumps off the side of the
\ncastle wall onto one of them.<\/em><\/p>\n

EDGAR: Or maybe I do!<\/p>\n

KEFKA: Ackk! Shameful that a king should flee, leaving his people
\nbehind! How utterly delightful!<\/p>\n

EDGAR takes the Chocobo around the other side of castle, where LOCKE
\nand TERRA are waiting.<\/em><\/p>\n

EDGAR: Jump!<\/p>\n

LOCKE and TERRA jump onto the Chocobos as they ride past, and they
\nproceed to ride off.<\/em><\/p>\n

EDGAR: OK! Dive now!!!<\/p>\n

LOCKE: Yahoooo!<\/p>\n

Figaro Submergance Code Engaged!<\/p>\n

The castle starts to pull together by itself.<\/em><\/p>\n

CHANCELLOR: Into the golden desert Figaro Castle nobly descends!<\/p>\n

Chancellor lowers into the castle, and it submerges. Kefka is wiped
\nout on the surface of the desert sands.<\/em><\/p>\n

KEFKA: Go!! GET THEM!<\/p>\n

Avulsion never asked to come on this mission. He felt humiliated every time he had to wipe the sand off of Kefka’s boots. All the same, he thought it would be easy to take down the three Chocobo riders with his Magiteck armor suit.<\/em><\/p>\n

<\/em><\/p>\n

He was wrong.<\/em><\/p>\n

Innocents lynch Avulsion, a mafioso.<\/span><\/p>\n
