The inspiration for this was <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Meditations\">the Meditations of Marcus Aurelius,<\/a> which I haven&#8217;t yet read, but the idea really struck me as a good one. I wouldn&#8217;t pretend to be as profound or as influential as the greatest emperor of Rome, but for myself and my posterity, it seems like a good project.<\/p>\n<p>In any case, I thought I&#8217;d share\u00a0some of the best thoughts here on this blog, starting with January. It is impossible to go online &#8220;with&#8221; someone.
