All of My Books in Series Order

Below are all of my books and stories, listed in series order.

Joe Vasicek

  2. Comrades in Hope
  3. Strangers in Flight
  4. Friends in Command
  5. Captives in Obscurity
  6. Patriots in Retreat
  7. A Queen in Hiding
  8. An Empire in Disarray
  9. Victors in Liberty

Genesis Earth Trilogy

This young adult science fiction trilogy takes place in the near to mid-future, after a scientific experiment on the fringes of the Oort cloud creates mankind’s first artificial wormhole. Genesis Earth is my first published novel.

  1. Genesis Earth
  2. Edenfall
  3. The Stars of Redemption

Gunslinger Trilogy

These short novels are space opera / action adventure sci-fi. They take place about 40 years in the future, after Earth makes contact with the galactics. “Jane Carter of Earth and the Rescue that Never Was” is a prequel short story.

  1. Gunslinger to the Stars
  2. Gunslinger to the Galaxy
  3. Gunslinger to Earth

Gaia Nova

These books take place in the same universe as Sons of the Starfarers, but 1,000 years later. They all stand alone and can be read in any order, but take place in the same universe with recurring minor and major characters. They are listed in the order in which they were published. Heart of the Nebula is a direct sequel to Bringing Stella Home.

Falconstar Trilogy

This trilogy is set in the same universe as Sons of the Starfarers and Gaia Nova. It takes place a couple of hundred years before Bringing Stella Home.

Outworld Trilogy

The books in this trilogy take place in the same universe as Sons of the Starfarers, with the first book happening slightly before the events of that series and the second and third books happening a generation later, with a few recurring characters from that series. Outworlder is a novella that covers the first part of Star Wanderers.

  1. Star Wanderers
  2. Children of the Starry Sea
  3. Return of the Starborn Son (forthcoming)

Twelfth Sword Trilogy

These books are all epic fantasy.

  1. The Sword Keeper
  2. The Sword Bearer (forthcoming)
  3. The Sword Mistress (forthcoming)

The Xulthar Cycle

This is sword and sorcery / heroic fantasy, and also my first foray into writing AI-assisted novels. Currently a standalone with potential to turn into a series.

The Sea Mage Cycle

This is an ongoing series of short fantasy adventure novels with recurring characters in the same world. As the series title suggests, these books are all nautically themed.

Originally published under the pseudonym J.M. Stormrider, these novels are all written with AI assistance.

Star Wanderers (no longer published)

The Star Wanderers series ran from 2014 to 2020, when I novelized them all into Star Wanderers and took the original books down. The first four books were linear, while the last four were parallaxes of the first four, from the point of view of the side characters.

  1. Outworlder
  2. Fidelity
  3. Sacrifice
  4. Homeworld
  5. Dreamweaver
  6. Benefactor
  7. Reproach
  8. Deliverance

Miscellany, Non-Fiction, and other Odds and Ends

  • Science Fiction from A to Z (Newsletter exclusive)
  • Journey to Jordan (Unpublished)

J.M. Wight

This is my pen name for LDS and Christian science fiction.

Christopher Columbus, Interstellar Explorer

Christopher Columbus Jackson is a working-class guy in the post-Earth future who is just trying to hit his lucky break, working a variety of hard jobs and side hustles. When he encounters the warrior monks of the Church of Jesus Christ of Post-Millennial Saints, Orthodox, though, everything begins to change.

These are a bunch of fun and upbeat stories, with an optimistic view of the future and a ridiculously wacky view of the past. If you enjoy sci-fi humor and space opera, you will probably love these.

  1. Christopher Columbus, Wildcatter
  2. Christopher Columbus, Treasure Hunter
  3. Christopher Columbus, Wormhole Mechanic (forthcoming)

Zedekiah Wight

Zedekiah Wight is a vigilante space pirate who has sworn be an instrument in God’s hands in bringing justice to a corrupt and decadent galaxy. His stories take place in our distant future, long after the end times of Earth.

Most of these titles are free short stories, though In the Wake of Zedekiah Wight is a $2.99 novella. When I have enough stories to put into a collection, I will take the singles down.

Starship Lachoneus

The Starship Lachoneus stories take place on Earth during Christ’s Millennial reign, and chronicle the construction and voyage of the Starship Lachoneus, a generation ship that will take humanity—and the restored gospel—to the stars.
