Even if the writing sucks, the story is good!

Another update on my novel…

Today I wrote about 1,400 words into my novel.  It was great!  About a week ago, I had passed a minor climax in the writing, and found it pretty hard to keep the momentum on the downhill end of that rush–but I decided today to just write up to the next climax and fill in any missed details later, and things are starting to flow a lot better now!

When I look at my novel, and at the feedback I’m getting for my other stories, I can pretty much say that my writing needs a lot of work…but even if it does, this story is cool and I’m excited about it!  Even 80,000 words in!

I don’t have any idea how the story is going to end, but I’ve got it all planned out right up to the last twenty or so pages.  This might not be the best way to write things, but it sure is motivating–I want to find out the ending!
