Just keeping myself honest…

861 words.  I’m not far from breaking 80,000.  And…the story is maybe a little over halfway finished.  Gotta pick up the pace.

861 isn’t as high as my goal for 1,000 words daily, but it’s good progress.  I don’t measure progress by meeting goals per say, I measure them by what I accomplish as I work towards the goal.  The goal is simply a tool, not something to make me feel happy or sad.  The writing itself does that.

I’ll blog later.  I need my sleep.  Gotta post those notes from last Thursday’s class.  Besides that, I’ve got some other stuff cooking.  I’ll blog about it when my ideas are more developed.
