The FLSR (Foreign Language Student Residence) here at BYU is a very interesting and unique place. You get a real mix of cultures. My roommate is from Syria and he's always inviting his other Arab friends over, and vice versa. Today they were playing foozball in the common room, and it was insane! They got REALLY into it! Singing songs, jumping up and down, shouting and screaming at each other, and making these shrill, high pitched calls with their tongues! If they had any guns, they'd be shooting them in the air! The funny thing was that every time the one team scored a point on the other team, they'd call the others 'traitors' (in Arabic, of course). Funny stuff! It was quite entertaining just to watch!
