I took these shots while I was walking along the beach in Chatham at low tide. I thought it was pretty funny, because baseball (especially the rivalry between the Sox and the Yankees) is HUGE up here in New England! I also thought I'd play around with The Gimp and try to combine images to create something of a photo essay. That's one thing (and probably the only thing) that I miss from Blogger--I could upload as many images as I wanted into a post, and have a commentary on each one. There is an add-on for pixelpost that does that, but I decided not to use that, in case I wanted to do multiple posts for multiple days on unrelated subjects. However, it's possible to get around this problem by creating one big collage of all the shots you want on the one post. That way, instead of just looking at individual images, all of them together can tell a story.
