Rising above conflict
Rising above conflict
A shot of the Jordanian skyline I took nearby the fourth circle. I tried to get the barbed wire in the shot, but perhaps it isn't as clear as it could be. Amman is a city built relatively recently, in the face of many conflicts. Most of the people here are refugees from Palestine and the Gulf. When you consider that history, it's remarkable that the city (or the country, for that matter) holds together so well. Before I go home, I want to know what it is that holds this place together.
