This is the Mississippi river, the largest river in the United States. As you can see, it is HUGE. We crossed it just a couple of hours before arriving at Chicago. I think I've driven across that bridge before, but I'm not entirely sure. A family from Idaho that I'd gotten to know fairly well was vacationing in Nauvoo, so they got off here. I think that this shot was taken fairly close to Nauvoo, within fifty miles at least.
