Quark Brings Smash Bro's to Brigham Square
These past couple of days, several clubs have put out booths outside in Brigham square. As a vice president of Quark, BYU's Sci Fi / Fantasy club (the best place on campus to get your geek on!), I spent most of today outside at the Quark booth. It was tons of fun! We talked with lots of people and just had a great time. As part of the gaming section, a couple of the guys set up a gamecube with Super Smash Brothers, and people were playing it all day! The guys here are all longtime members--there's Daen (webmaster of doom!), Lunesar, Andy1, and Silverstorm (half the time we just refer to ourselves by our board names, which is IMO extremely geeky and extremely funny). Around noon, these guys were really getting into the game! It was fun just to watch them! I snapped a few pictures, and thought I'd put this one up. And hey, if you are interested in Quark, check out the website! http://quarksff.org And if you are interested in the writing group (I happen to be the leader of the writing group!) and want to know more about it, shoot me an email! onelowerlight at gmail dot com.
