BLOGS BY ONELOWERLIGHT

Who I am:
I am a BYU undergrad studying Political Science, Arabic, English, and Middle Eastern studies. I claim Massachusetts as a home, but I was born in Texas, raised in Illinois, and served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Silicon Valley. One of my goals is to become a published Science Fiction writer. Another of my goals is to become fluent in modern Arabic. In the meantime, I blog when I should be doing other things.

Blogs I write:
Onelowerlight's Daily Photo Safari—my daily photoblog, where I post a new image every day from photos of the places I go and the things I see in everyday life You can access the old site (Jan07-Jul07) here.
Arab wa Gharab: Ayn Al-Ekhtelaf?—my language learning journal where I attempt to write understandable Arabic and blog about my struggles to learn the language.
Journey to Jordan—my travel blog from the 2008 BYU Jordan study abroad. No longer updated, now that the program is over, but you can read through the archives. It contains stories and experiences from living abroad in Jordan, as well as thoughts and feelings on language learning and career goals.
A Thousand And One Parsecs—a journal of my life and experiences as an aspiring writer. Here I write about the books I’m writing, my story ideas, reviews of the books I read, and life experiences as they relate to my dreams and aspirations as a writer. And other random thoughts, ramblings, and occasional links to cooler stuff.
